I was skeptical at first because here was another product promising to eliminate odors, but since I recently moved to a very small apartment with multiple cats I thought I might as well try it out since nothing I had tried up to that point had worked as promised. I LOVE this product!!! Finally, I have found something that works and a product that does what it claims to do \u2013 no odor!!! I scoop 1 to 2 times a day. \n“OK I’m calling it “used up” for our 1st use of Breathe Free Litterbox Mate. Good results, here’s the break down. 2 large tubs for litter box, one of these components per litter box, didn’t cover the whole bottom as the tub was to big for one, to small for 2. Covered 4 inches using LitterClean clumping litter (Sam”s Club purchased , normal stuff I use). March 17 start date .. finish day APRIL 12 .. just under 1 month worked well. Oh the big thing … my travel takes me away 3-4 days a week with no scooping, and 3 cats 1 week, <\/em>

\n“Three Weeks + 1 Day:”Nothing new to report.\u00a0 Box is working well and no odor detected by household and several visitors.\u00a0 Waste matter still seems reduced from normal due to the shrinking of the urine clumps and the drying of the feces. We will be leaving for several days to Canada next Tuesday and will put out another litter box WITHOUT the Breathe Free pads to ensure cats have enough facilities for the time (3 days) we are gone.<\/em>

\n“Here is my latest observation of the Breathe Free Litterbox Mate tests here at our house. We were gone for 3 days and left the test box with two other boxes of litter (Fresh Step) that both cats have been using in the past before this test.
\n1. Cats preferred the open litter box with the Breathe Free Litterbox Mate pad with the inexpensive clumping litter.\u00a0 Other two boxes had very minor use. The test box was full of cat offerings.
\n2. I believe the Breathe Free Litterbox Mate has passed\u00a0the test and it’s time to change the pad. On return (02\/07\/2013), I\u00a0noted that the litter box was full of offerings and there\u00a0was no odor but the offerings were not as solid.
\n3. First started test\u00a0on 01\/04\/2013.\u00a0 \u00a0So, it appears that the material has survived without producing odor and by lowering the volume of litter needed to be scooped. Odor is still absent (after I covered up the other boxes) but the pad underneath the litter <\/em>needs replacing.”<\/em>
